I am a first-year PhD student in Geology and Earth Sciences at the Department of Atmospheric, Oceanic and Earth Science at George Mason University. My research uses foraminifera, stable isotopes (δ¹⁸O, δ¹³C), and assemblage data to reconstruct upper-ocean structure and ecological change during rapid warming events. My interests include mixed-layer to thermocline dynamics, carbon-cycle signals, and how marine ecosystems respond to extreme climate perturbations. I have a strong background in sedimentology and multiproxy paleoenvironmental reconstruction, and I am always interested in linking microfossil signals to broader questions in paleoceanography and climate dynamics.
